I Didn't Start
in Real Estate.
I started in construction. Before I ever helped someone buy or sell a home, I worked on construction projects, coordinated trades, solved problems in the field, and learned how houses are actually built. I studied Construction Engineering Management at Purdue University and spent years working in construction and development before moving into real estate.
I Saw Too Many People Making Big Decisions Without the Right Guidance
I got into real estate because I saw too many people making big decisions without having someone on their side who truly understood construction, renovations, zoning, and long-term property value.
I realized I could help people much more by combining construction knowledge with real estate. Not just helping them find a house, but helping them understand what they're buying, what they can do with it, and whether it's actually a smart long-term decision.
That background changed the way I see houses and the way I work with clients.
When I Walk Through a Home, I'm Not Looking at What You'd Expect
When I walk through a home, I'm not just looking at finishes and square footage. I'm looking at structure, systems, drainage, layout feasibility, renovation potential, and long-term value.
I help clients understand zoning, setbacks, tree ordinances, flood zones, and what the city will and won't allow. Whether an addition is structurally feasible. Whether that renovation you're planning is realistic or a money pit.
I don't just help people buy or sell homes. I help clients make smart real estate decisions, avoid expensive mistakes, and improve their properties over time.
